In 2010, with the encouragement of his family and friends, Scott Bowen opened his insurance agency with Allstate Insurance. Having a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a deep desire to serve his clients and community are the core values of his successful agency.
Scott moved from Boise to Idaho Falls with his parents when he was 13 years old. He attended BYU-Idaho, married his sweetheart Cassie Batt of Rigby, and was blessed with having two beautiful little girls.
His wonderful agency has expanded to include four licensed employees and an in-house Personal Financial Representative who also works with five other offices in the area. Together they have a combined experience of 35 years in the insurance industry. Scott believes in having a personal relationship with his clients and offers to help them in other areas of their lives.
"You learn the value of hard work when you are self-employed,” he said, “I gained the knowledge of being self-employed from my parents and I wouldn't do it any other way.”
He believes wholeheartedly in giving back to his community, and has organized many charity events over the years to help out local businesses and organizations. Last year he got 12 other Allstate Agents to join him in the 9/11 Fallen Heroes Tribute Run/Walk and Allstate made a $12,000 donation to the organization. This year they plan to help raise money for the POW/MIA at their Awareness Rally in July. Scott has also volunteered at the Rigby City Library, Chubbuk Fire Department, and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Twice a year Scott's agency also buys out two showings at the Paramount Theater for their Customer Loyalty Event. “It's our way of saying 'Thank You' to our clients,” he said.
Scott was honored when Allstate selected him to host a Hometown Hall of Famer event at Rigby High School. During the event he acted as Master of Ceremonies to recognize Larry Wilson, a Rigby graduate and former football player who went on to play for the Cardinals in the NFL. The school was presented with a bronze plaque and Larry Wilson's 102 year old coach was also in attendance to recognize Larry's accomplishments.
With this kind of dedication to his clients and the community, you know he will give you the best service possible when it comes to your insurance policies. Whether it be home, auto, life, or retirement, he will set you on the right path and work alongside you to reach your financial goals.♦
